Enabling Leadership’s Global Ambassador Program (ELGAP) is a unique Youth Leadership Development program for high school students that recognizes service as a proven, powerful medium to develop leadership skills. The 10-month program involves mentoring, fundraising, and digital outreach activities, specifically designed to help you cultivate essential 21st century leadership skills.
How can ELGAP help you: Through the ELGAP program, you develop critical skills that will “future-proof” your career. Your ELGAP experience and service certificate make for a unique college application essay, allowing you to get into the best universities, and you get to build a global network of amazing talented and diverse group of people who have a deep sense of purpose to make the world a better place.
How can ELGAP help your career: The ELGAP program activities help you learn how to manage diversity, make decisions in ambiguity, innovate frugally, inspire others by example. They also help you build empathy, resilience, effective communication and problem-solving skills. As a result, you are now equipped to succeed and flourish in the dynamic and fast-changing work environment driven by advances in technology and an increasingly global workforce.
