The Enabling Leadership Global Ambassador Program (ELGAP) is a transformative youth leadership program for high school students from international schools (Grades 9–12) who want to build real-world leadership skills while creating meaningful social impact.
As ELGAP Fellows, students mentor a team of underserved children enrolled in Enabling Leadership programs, guiding them to identify local challenges and develop community projects that create real change. They also lead fundraising efforts to support their team, helping bring these ideas to life.
Along the way, each Fellow is paired with an industry mentor, gaining valuable guidance on leadership, project management, and problem-solving from experienced professionals.
Through mentoring, fundraising, and digital advocacy, ELGAP Fellows gain hands-on leadership experience while developing the 21st-century skills universities and future employers value most.
ELGAP is more than volunteering — it is a leadership journey where students learn by doing while empowering others to succeed.
Through ELGAP, you will take on the role of a community project mentor — empowering under-resourced students to identify local challenges and build actionable solutions. You will guide them in shaping and refining their pitch presentations and actively participate in these presentations to help them secure seed funding. At the same time, you will be paired with an industry mentor who will guide you in project management, leadership, and fundraising, ensuring that your learning experience is as impactful as the change you create.
ELGAP is more than volunteering — it is a leadership journey where students learn by doing while empowering others to succeed.
Fundraising is a vital component of ELGAP, helping you cultivate the essential skills of pitching, persuasion and financial literacy. You will be required to set up a fundraising campaign where you will get to participate and support underserved children enrolled in EL programs. This hands-on experience helps you build project management, marketing, and financial planning skills, all of which are crucial for a successful career.
Through digital storytelling, online campaigns, and virtual events, you will learn to harness the power of social media to spotlight meaningful causes and community action — positioning yourself as a confident, purpose-driven leader who can inspire change on a global scale.
